There are four phases in the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Protocol. During all four Phases you will receive one-on-one coaching, teaching you how your body gains weight and what you should be eating in order to maintain a balanced weight.

Graeme – Pharmacist, Pharmasave Owner
My motive for going on the Ideal Protein Weight Loss Program was to get down to my race weight before the season started. My starting weight was 196.1 lbs. My ideal cycling & running weight is between 178 to 180pds.
Simply reducing my calorie/food intake was never enough to reduce my weight and it left me lacking the energy to perform at the level of exertion that I needed to train properly. I am working closely with my Ideal Protein Coach and I am being encouraged to take an extra Ideal Protein food on days that I do my workouts. With the help of the Body Composition Analysis, we are monitoring my lean muscle mass. I am very happy with my progress. At 2 weeks, I was down 12 lbs.*

I am 5’10” and on Jan 4, 2015 I weighed in at 169lbs. This may not seem like it is heavy, however, my body fat percentage was 30. That is in the high range for heart problems. I have also been on high blood pressure medication for a year and have had difficulty keeping my blood pressure in the normal range.
Since starting this protocol my blood pressure has often been below normal (125/80) and in the optimal range. I feel great and my clothes are fitting better than ever. I love all the new recipes and foods that Graeme and I are eating on this weight loss program. I get to have a snack daily that tastes like BBQ potato chips and I don’t feel the least bit guilty!

My mother suffered with Diabetes in her later years of life. Her struggles were numerous from this dreaded disease. Seeing her cope with high blood sugar and the irreversible damage it had done to her body was a sad thing for me. I don’t want this for myself. I am overweight and I know that Diabetes could be a possibility for me if I don’t take care of it now.
It is a simple program to follow and the pounds and inches are disappearing. I am having a lot of fun being creative with the food and experimenting with different flavors. I am really looking forward to getting healthy and staying healthy.

My reason for starting this program was simple, I wanted to lose weight. Over the past year my weight was on a steady uphill climb and nothing I tried seemed to work. I like this program because someone tells me what to eat and how much and you will lose weight. I also read how this works with your body and it made sense to me.

I have been on the Pharmasave team since 1998. I have tried many other types of weight loss programs and each time I have regained the weight, plus. I am edging up on the big 5 0 soon. As there have been several stressful events in my life this past year, I realized that I am an emotional eater. Sweets and donuts are my biggest weakness.
Since recently I realized I am now the most overweight person in my family and I discovered I was listed as “morbidly obese”. I am dedicating myself to this program in an effort to get and stay healthy.

I have known for sometime that my eating habits were atrocious. I don’t do the cooking in my home, and to be truthful, I never really learned about proper nutrition. So, I became a junk food sugar addict, finding it easier and faster not to eat breakfast or lunch and just grab whatever struck my mood when I needed a pick me up later in the day.
I still ate a proper dinner, just kinda forgot to eat properly during the daytime. As I get older, I realize that I really do need to take care of myself, for myself, my daughters and my husband. I feel that using this program is a very important step in the right direction.

I have worked at Pharmasave Grand Forks for two and a half years. After having my second baby, I realized that I needed to work to get in shape for the Christina Lake Triathlon this summer.
Even though I’m not overweight, I wanted to be supportive of my co-workers. I am happy to recommend this weight loss program to others because it is similar to the way I already eat (lots of veggies and protein). So, it is a realistic plan and not a fad. I also like the diet because the meals are fast and easy to prepare: perfect for the full-time working Mom with two small kids.

I also have some health issues, and feel that this program will not only help me lose weight, but it will help my body work properly. As a student, I would often snack while studying and, paired with lots of sitting, the pounds seemed to creep up. My goal with this program is to lose the “muffin top” and to start a healthier lifestyle.
